Today I launched Nottingham City Transport’s brand new website. I’ve been working closely with the Marketing team to streamline the design and introduce new features to make travelling by bus even easier, particularly as we head into the winter weather.
The harsh weather of last winter saw a significant rise in the demand for current travel information. In reviewing the existing website, we looked at ways to make it easier to distribute information to customers.
The new site uses WordPress to manage news and disruptions information, feeding directly to the NCT Facebook and Twitter pages. It also introduces new route specific pages, so customers can get directly to the information for their area.
